Along the lines of Knofabulator (Yahoo) abd widgets (and many others) we now have Google Gadgets. Either Desktop or web based. I’ve not seen the software development kit but may be of interest to some.

Lonely Girl 15 is the story of the trials and tribulantions of growing up. A lonely girl having problems relating to people, covering all the major issues such as being grounded . Not a new story but this time being played out to millions (over 3 million hits) online on the video log (vlog) sharing site You Tube.

However, suspicious fans started to notice inconsistencies and question the validity of the story. Vlogs were published airing such concerns and finally NBC news exposed the truth.

Makes you wonder who you can trust, what’s real and what’s fiction and whose nuggets are these anyway?

Don’t be misled by the name of this website as there are lots of great resources for all primary school teachers at www.senteacher.org/ it’s full of all sorts of ideas for everyone involved in education

Especially useful is the Printables section which enables you to create a range of resources for literacy and numeracy lessons including number fans and wordcards. All the resources can be adapted before printing, so a certificate can be personalised very quickly and easily.
